Having used this course with couples for many years in my practice, I have now made it available to you as a downloadable course that you can complete at home with your partner.

This premarital counselling course aims to equip couples with the necessary skills and insights to build a strong foundation for their marriage, addressing various aspects of their relationship and preparing them for a fulfilling life together.

 

You will have access to the five session workbooks for download, and one 60min online counselling session to go over the results and challenges you face is included in the cost.

• Explore reasons for being together and motivations for marriage.
• Discuss expectations and understand each other’s love languages.

Session 2: Communication

• Identify barriers to communication and understand different communication styles.
• Practice recognizing and expressing emotions.
• Develop conflict management strategies and understand how to navigate differences.

Session 3: Family & Friends, Faith & Culture

• Share past experiences and discuss family relationships.
• Explore ways to support each other.
• Manage relationships with extended family and friends.
• Discuss personal beliefs and values, as well as cultural backgrounds.
• Explore how faith and culture influence your relationship dynamics.

Session 4: Future Plans

• Address practical considerations such as family name, living arrangements, and career aspirations.
• Discuss plans for children.
• Develop a financial strategy for the future.

Session 5: Our Love Life

• Explore intimacy, sexual satisfaction, and ways to nurture your romantic relationship.
• Discuss the importance of dating, showing affection, and sustaining a fulfilling marriage.
